5. I’m in it for the music.
I’m not really sure what this blog will turn into; it’ll be a learning experience and hopefully I’ll figure it out along the way. The one thing I do know, though, is that it’ll be mostly music. New, old, beloved, resented, surprising, weird, and anything else about the music I’ve heard.
(Sidenote: I WILL be plugging my radio show. Some people think it’s shameless advertising………….sad for them. I play great music. I want you to hear it.)
Wriu.org Monday nights 9pm-12am. Check it.
4. I won’t get political.
I don’t really want to touch it. It’s not my thing, it starts SO many arguments, and no one’s right or wrong. I’m here for some harmless fun, not to tell you exactly why the national deficit is blah blah blah.
(HOWEVER. If you don’t believe in equal rights for everyone, you can go home. I don’t want you here. The occasional feminist and human rights rant is excusable, only because that shouldn’t be political at all. It should be human nature.)
3. I might take a few breaks here and there.
I’ve been known to commit to something, get into it for a few weeks, and drop it completely. It’s not my finest quality. This blog will definitely NOT be that; I’ve been meaning to get into it for some time and now it’s finally happening. That being said, if I take a break for a week or so, I haven’t deserted you. It’s probably due to excessive course work, personal relationships, or just straight up laziness. But I’ll always be back.
2. I’m open to any post suggestions I receive.
As noted, this blog will be a compilation of a lot of things. Music, fashion, food, friends, adventures, advice, and more. Since I’m starting this right now, I feel like I have 1,000,001 things to write about and no time to write it. But, writers block is so real, and if you stop in and say “Hey Sara you should totally write a story about the rarest seashells in the world!” I’ll be like hell yeah man I’d love to! Any feedback is good feedback. See also: #1.
1. I wholeheartedly accept any and all feedback from my beloved readers.
Send me a long long comment about why I should never blog again, I’d love that. I’m going for the Miley Cyrus effect here: you can voice your deep disdain for everything I stand for, but if you’re still reading my blog, I already win. (Of course, fans are welcome just as emphatically, maybe even more so).
